01Information we collect
Information you provide
None. The App has no sign-up, no login and no profile. Player names, team names and scores you type during a game are stored only on your device and are never transmitted to us.
Information collected automatically
| Data | Purpose | Processor |
|---|---|---|
| Anonymous analytics ID (a random identifier generated on first launch) | Distinguish one device’s activity from another’s | Mixpanel |
| In-app events (screens opened, rounds started and finished, store items viewed, purchase buttons tapped) | Understand which features are used, and improve the game | Mixpanel |
| Device model, OS version, app version and language | Diagnose problems and see which devices we must support | Mixpanel |
| IP address | Present in transit as part of any network request; IP-based geolocation is switched off, so it is never turned into a location record | Mixpanel |
| Purchase and subscription status, transaction identifiers, store receipts, platform and country of purchase | Deliver the content you paid for, restore purchases, prevent fraud and produce revenue reporting | RevenueCat |
| Advertising ID (AAID on Android), IP address, device and ad-interaction data | Deliver non-personalised ads between game rounds, measure them, and cap how often you see the same one | Google AdMob |
We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, precise location, health data or browsing history.
Advertising
The free version of the App shows a full-screen ad at the break between rounds, supplied by Google AdMob. It never appears during play.
The ads are non-personalised. The App explicitly requests non-personalised ads on every request, so the ad you see is chosen from general context — not from a profile of your interests, your history or your behaviour in other apps. This is not a default we inherited; it is requested in code, and it does not change based on what you consent to.
To deliver and measure those ads, Google receives your device’s advertising ID, IP address, basic device information and whether an ad was shown or interacted with. Non-personalised ads still use this to serve and measure the ad and to limit how often the same one is repeated. What Google does with it is governed by its own policy for sites and apps that use its services and its privacy policy.
You have three ways to control this:
- Consent. Where local law requires it (the EEA, the UK and other regulated regions), the App asks for your consent through Google’s certified consent platform before requesting any ad, and honours a refusal.
- Turn ads off entirely. Buying Remove Ads, the lifetime bundle or an active subscription removes them. When you own any of those the App does not start the ad SDK at all, so no advertising ID is requested or sent.
- Reset or limit your advertising ID in your device settings (Android: Settings → Google → Ads).
We do no cross-app tracking, and because of that the App does not ask for App Tracking Transparency permission on iOS. Ad data is never combined with the analytics above.
Information stored only on your device
Game settings, chosen language, team setup, scores, achievements and which content packs you own are saved in the App’s local storage. This never leaves your device, and deleting the App deletes it.
Payments
Purchases are processed entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We never see or receive your card number, bank details or billing address. We only receive confirmation that a purchase succeeded, via RevenueCat. Apple’s and Google’s own privacy policies govern the payment itself.
02Why we process this data
Where the GDPR applies, we rely on:
- Performance of a contract — delivering the content you purchased, restoring purchases across your devices, and providing support.
- Legitimate interests — understanding aggregate product usage, fixing bugs, preventing purchase fraud and keeping the App secure. We have assessed this processing as limited and anonymous, and as not overriding your rights.
- Consent — where local law requires consent for analytics or for showing ads (the EEA and the UK in particular), we ask for it through a consent dialog and you may withdraw it at any time (see section 6).
04International transfers
Our processors are based in the United States and may process data outside your country. Where required, these transfers rely on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent safeguard.
05How long we keep data
- Analytics events — retained by Mixpanel for up to 12 months, then deleted or aggregated into non-identifiable form.
- Purchase records — retained for as long as needed to honour restores and entitlements, and to meet tax and accounting obligations (typically 7 years).
- On-device data — kept until you delete the App.
06Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live (the EEA and UK under the GDPR, California under the CCPA/CPRA, and similar laws elsewhere), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your data, to object to or restrict processing, and to withdraw consent. California residents additionally have the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell personal information, and because the App requests non-personalised ads only, we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, as those terms are defined by the CCPA/CPRA.
Because the App is anonymous, we usually need an identifier to act on a request:
- Analytics ID or RevenueCat App User ID — email us and we will explain how to read it from the App, or send us your purchase receipt.
- Opt out of analytics entirely — delete the App. No further events are sent.
- Delete on-device data — uninstalling erases all of it. We keep no cloud backup of it.
Send requests to privacy@plainkind.com. We respond within 30 days. If you are in the EEA or UK you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
07Children
The App is a general-audience game and is not directed to children under 13 (under 16 in the EEA where applicable). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with data, contact us and we will delete it. The App shows ads, but never personalised ones and never any based on a profile, for any user, and analytics data is never used to build profiles of individuals.
08Security
Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) and held by our processors under their own security programmes. No system is perfectly secure, but we limit exposure by collecting as little as possible and by never handling payment credentials ourselves.
09Contact
The data controller for the App is Gor Arestakesyan, sole proprietor, Yerevan, Republic of Armenia.

10Changes to this policy
If we change this policy materially we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where the change is significant, tell you in the App before it takes effect. Continuing to use the App after a change means you accept the updated policy.
